Summer Location and Time
From Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, we will once again be meeting outside at Trails and Trees Environmental Center at 9:30am, instead of at the middle school. Our 1st Sunday at Trails and Trees is Sunday, May 26. Remember to bring a chair and dress for the weather. For inclement weather, we will meet inside the Environmental Center instead of outside under the trees.
Children are encouraged to attend Sunday services with their parents. We will have kids classes some of the weeks (see below for dates.)
MCC Kids Summer Dates:
June 2, 9, 16, and 23
August 4, 11, 18, and 25
(There are no kid’s classes on May 26, month of July, or Sept. 1)
We are trying to set MCC Kids up well for the summer! If you serve in Kids Ministry and could sign up to help out one Sunday in June and one Sunday in August, that would be incredibly helpful. You can sign up, here.
Well, we’re hiring! Over the past few months the Leadership Council has been dialoguing about how we feel called to staff the Children and Youth Ministry roles. As many of you know we’ve had a 15 hour per week youth pastor position posted for nearly a year. With the Children’s Ministry Director role coming open, we feel this is a God opportunity to combine the Children and Youth Position into one role, giving pastoral leadership to both ministries.
