Baby Bottle Blast
If you are not familiar with Capital Area Pregnancy Center (CAPC), allow me to give you a little information. CAPC was founded in 1985 in Camp Hill and is dedicated to helping women and their families facing an unplanned pregnancy. CAPC “exists to demonstrate Christ’s unconditional love to those in a crisis pregnancy through spiritual and emotional counseling, material support, and education, thus enabling them to choose alternatives to abortion.”
Every year, beginning on Mother’s Day and ending on Father’s Day, CAPC has their “Baby Bottle Blast” campaign. This fundraiser raises about 1/3 of their yearly income each year! Beginning Sunday, we are going to be able to help contribute to this important ministry.
When you come in to church on Sunday, you will find a table with several baby bottles. Simply grab one for you and/or your family and take it home. Over the next several weeks, fill it with change, cash, and/or checks. Bring the filled bottle back on or before Father’s Day (Sunday, June 17) and we will collect the bottles to donate to CAPC.
This is a great way to include your children and teach them the significance of giving. Thanks in advance for your participation in this!
