A Matter of the Heart

A Matter of the Heart

On April 8, we are going to begin a new teaching series on money and finances called, “A Matter of the Heart”. We all need, use, and likely think about money every day of our adult lives. So, what does Scripture say about money? What is our relationship with money to be like? (Is it healthy, complicated, misunderstood? 🙂 ) How does giving impact my relationship with money? Etc.

We will look at questions like these and more in this very important series. I’m looking forward to teaching on a topic that impacts each and everyone of us.

April 8 – A Matter of the Heart

April 15 – Living Content

April 22 – Freedom in Giving

Unfortunately, due to technical difficulties, we do not have a recording of this message.

April 29 – Where do we go from here?

Paul’s Letter to the Galatians

Paul’s Letter to the Galatians

Galatians Series Devotional

On Sunday, February 18, we are going to begin a six week study on Paul’s letter to Galatians. This letter is packed full of amazing truths and insights. In six sermons, we will not be able to cover every passage in this rich letter. So, some amazing folks at MCC have written devotionals that will correspond with this series so that you can study this entire letter during the season of lent on your own.

Beginning Monday, February 19, we will release 3 devotionals per week until Easter (18 total!). If you join the mailing list, you will receive the devotionals directly to your email inbox early in the morning on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday’s so that you can start off your day by diving into God’s word!

You will not automatically receive the devotionals. You will need to opt in by quickly signing up here. Once you have signed up, you can simply wait for them to come to you!

Storytellers

We will meet in the cafeteria throughout the month of July at MCC. This month gives many of our volunteers a break, especially our MCC kids teams and setup/tear down teams. While we will not have our regular MCC kids programming, we will have activities and packets for the kids to engage with throughout the month.

This month is a sabbath for us. We intentionally step back from a lot of activity to gives ourselves rest and to connect deeper and more intentionally with one another.

Our theme for the month is “storytellers”. Each week we will hear from various MCC folks who will share what God has been teaching them/how He has been leading them in their lives. We will also have time to worship and share in discussion together. This is going to be a great month for us as we take a step back and enjoy being a community.
