The Beatitudes

The Beatitudes – Matthew 5:2-12 

The beatitudes – 8 statements that show how those who follow the teaching of Jesus will be blessed and experience the kingdom of God, even if their circumstances or life situation may not seem to indicate such a blessing.  In other words, in these simple statements Jesus is highlighting what it looks like to live as a follower of Him.

March 5 – Blessed are the poor in spirit

March 12 – Blessed are those who mourn

March 19 – Blessed are the Meek

March 26 – Blessed are those who Hunger and Thirst for Righteousness

April 2 – Blessed are the Merciful

April 9 – Blessed are the Pure in Heart

April 16 – Easter Celebration

April 23 – Blessed are the Peacemakers

April 30 – Blessed are the Persecuted for righteousness sake

The Wonder of Jesus Christ

In this series we will look at the wonder of Jesus Christ and the significance of Immanuel (God with us) through the eyes of Mary, Joseph, the shepherds, and the wise men.

Hunger & Thirst

Beginning Sunday, October 9, we are going to begin an awesome new series called “Hunger & Thirst”.  In this series we will look at the passage of the temptation of Jesus in Matthew 4.  We’ll be talking about how we can experience more freedom in our lives as we follow Christ and respond to his love!
